my dam speedo was trippin out last night i was going home from work and i look down and i was at least going 50 and the thing was bouncen from 25 to 30 and then hit 0 ...... when i take off from a stop it works fine then when i let off the gas or just cruz then the speedo trips out .... ?????? what hte hell?

you probably messed up the speedo gauge, or sensor when you wrecked your bike.

WOW, front wheel... I'm surprised... but ok... I don't remember if he damaged the front wheel or not. I know he did the back one... but not sure about the front. Plus I don't think he mentioned anything about damaging the gauges either...

I don't remember if his wheel got damaged or his gauges from his wreck...however any sudden shock could hurt the guts inside the gauge pod...there's no telling.

Yeah the SV is weird on that wheel speed sensor....I know for a fact my miles on the odometer were WAY off...I rode so many wheelies...and we always wondered why my trip odometer was always so far off of everyone elses on a big ride out. :lol:

Yeah I remember doing some wheelies on my EX500 back in the day and when the front wheel would come down the speedo would jump... way too :lol:

Bull, did you not read thru all the post...I had already answered the question..and even included a pic earlier today.

well today it didnt do anyuthing



and no the front tire wasent hurt but it did break the front fender so idk lol had to JB weld the front fender together

so did the gauges not mess up today...or they didn't move at all, or nothing went wrong with them today.?

Make sure its on the correct side and none of the wiring is damaged. Also make sure it has a good connection at the plug.
