The new incredible superlight Speedcell battery that produces 1.8 amps per gram of weight.

The SBK battery is a 240 Amp Battery, weighs 1.7 lbs.

It's durable: Only a 1% total capacity loss with stop loss at 2% so it never drains down to zero.

We will also have a SS version designed for bikes under 750cc that is only 11 ounces. Retail is $160. Contact us for the group price on those as well.

SpeedCell battery Options

We just received a batch of the Speedcell batteries with "Quick Releases". This will allow you to remove the battery quickly and safely for any reason.

We are installing quick releases on several of our project bikes so we can use just one battery for all seven of our current project bikes.

The quick release battery is a $25 option and will bolt up directly to your current wiring and fit in your original box.

what's the average life of this battery? I can get up to 5 years out of my standard battery that came with my ZX10R, could get more if I keep it on a float charger when I'm not able to ride it.

My guess is about 2 years. I heard they have some batteries out there that are still going at 3 years--but long life was not one of the design criteria. The focus was light weight and starting power.

Speedcells are in!

After running out of them for over a month...A batch of SpeedCell SBK batteries came in yesterday - a couple days ahead of schedule.

All the paid pre-orders went out already.

If there is anyone on the contact list that did get contacted, please email me or PM me and I'll set a battery aside for you.

Matt posted a few batteries on the website so you can order online if you prefer.

We should have some more SS batteries next week.
