Am I the only one here that normally uses the Tach to gauge speed and shift points and only look at the speedo in case of police or just as a reference check?

Just curious as to how other riders use theirs...

I listen... I usually don't look at the tach, or the speedo once I'm on the freeway... my bike's got a vibration right at 70 mh that helps me keep my speed .

if i wanted to know how fast i was goin id always look at the speedo.....normall driving id also listen to the motor and shift accordingly, but at the dragstrip and road course tracks i would always always use the tach....i would not rely on my ears to shift a bike at redline or just before redline.....

I use my ear for shifting and glance at the tach at times.... and I do look at the speedo alot because the speed comes so easy and in great quanities and Michigan cops can be shall we say...... :cens:
