Ever sense the Kroger cards and Farmer Jack bonus club cards, it seems like every store has a shoppers club with key chain things. Why not gasoline?

Speedway and SuperAmerica gas centers thought the same thing. Many of you have probably either seen the signs for these or have seen the the commercials.

I've got one and like it. Why not get something back for purchasing the gas and other stuff that you already buy. Not too mention you are getting these points without having to use some companies credit card.

Speedy Rewards

You get the card at the gas station. You scan it for every purchase you make. You use the credit card size for at the pump and they also give you key fab things. You get a point for every penny you spend. Then when you get soo many points you can redeem them for certain things based on this list (this is for Michigan)...

Plus now they give you $0.02 off every gallon of gas. Then if your Speedway is next to a Kroger you get a additional $0.03 off reg, .05 off mid, and .07 off premium. Which mean you can get 0.09 off a gallon of prem gas.

Not too bad. Just thought I'd share with you guys so maybe you can save some money.

I had a speedy rewards card, but I moved to PA and there is no speedways in this area. Now I go to walmart, put $ on a gift card and get 3 cents off a gallon of gas. If I was a sams club member I would get 5 cents off a gallon.

Also my new credit union gives me a 5 cents credit on each purchase I make as long as I select credit, if I push debit I don't get the credit. It's the same freakin thing, but I don't care I'd rather get the 5 cents.

I get the sams club discount and the kroger 3 cents discount but then you are limited to just those. Where as with the speedway, I can go to any of them. It's all the same for my truck... for the bike I tend to like Mobil, Marathon, or BP.

As far as debit vs credit... they aren't the same. Your debit card with the VISA/MC logo has a split personality. It's 2 different types of transactions.

I know they debit/credit aren't the same but why does the credit union only credit me 5 cents on credit transactions only.

hmm I ride alot, but the bike is going to totally break if I ride it before tuesday, and I have nothing better to do at work during the day, and after work I def don't have anything to do...so I sit here from 3:30 until 1 or so :whore: so thats atleast 18 or 19 hours :whore: ing. :twfrox: that much!

Moto... I usually do it at work as well. I figure if I have to be in front of the pc I might as well :whore: For example, today I rode twice and got rained on... so I even had to wash the bike in between :whore:
