As I was reading some of the posts, it struck me that we have our own language. What are some words you only hear in our sport? I'll start out with one:

high side-when your leaning to the left or right and something goes wrong and you end up crashing on the opposite side of the lean.

low side-when you lean to the left or right and the tires slide out and fall on the side you were leaning on.

I think this is right.

The old-timers will remember WFO. Wide Full Open in mixed company, Wide F****n Open otherwise. Pre 1980, the carb's throttle slides were hooked directly to the twist grip. Turning the throttle to the max opened the slide full open. With constant-vacuum carbs, the diaphram pistons open in response to engine vacuum, not directly to the twist grip. With FI, the throttle blades open to computer witchery.
