My local paper, the Rocky Mountain News, started it's 10th season of printing a motorcycle column yesterday. Called "Saturday Ride", it's written by Tim Coy. He test rides a bike or ATV and says what's going on at the local dealerships. Yesterday there was free hot dogs and music, a bike show, a Guess The Horsepower contest with a turbo busa, dyno runs (with appointment), stunt bike show, trials riding show, youth demo day, half-price tire change, and an oil change special.

They're also clearing out the warehouse with bike sales including '05 GSX-R600 for $7k, '05 busa for $10k, '05 CBR600RR for $7.5k, 05 CBR1000RR for $9.7k, and a bunch of other bikes. I didn't go as I had other bike errands, and we're expecting a foot of snow today and tomorrow. But spring has almost sprung.

We don't have any bike specific article around here that I'm aware of. The deals at the shops are hard to come by this time of year also. Especial with all the warm day that we have been getting. Can you believe its 50 degrees right now and I'm not even riding. It just gets better form here. Might get the freak snow a few more times but its already gone in a matter of days and warm again.
