Was in my cage this morning ...was driving on side road and there is lots of construction going on so a 3 lane road narrows to 2 lanes...traffic was going at about 45mph moderately congested.

I was on the middle lane and the lane that narrows was to left of me...I look up this impatient squid on 900CBR was weaving in and out behind me at about proably 60-70...switches to left most lane at about the same time the left lane was ending...luckily I saw him and tried to move right a little to give him room...but even when i did that he missed my side mirror by about an inch...I was like Holy $hit....

If that was some regular cager they wouldnt have even move for him...he would have ate it bad... idiots like that are what makes rest of us look bad and insurance rates go up

I used to see close calls like that back when I had a daily 70 mile commute. I agree with you when you say people like that ruin it for the rest of us. :nonod: :nonod:

I hate it when a car shares a lane with me I certainly wont try to share one with him. Some peeps on bikes just dont get the danger untill it hurts. :nonod:

Don'y you wish you could tell these people off, and then tell them you're a rider too! :cursin:
I suppose if the rider passed by the drivers' side of your car and if you were quick enough you could slap a sticky note on the back of the riders' helmet: "Don't be a squid. Retake MSF. Register with TWF." :bslap:

The problem with what Shan says is that when you're in a cage they think that is the only thing you know... they don't think about the fact that you could be a rider!

I have been that guy before so I won't say I would get mad... I would probably give him props for being good. Who knows what he would have done if you didn't move... when you are doing that you make quick dcisions and have to change some at the last moment. You just hope it doesn't bite you in the end...

Its no worse than a cage that stays out in the closed lane till the last minute knowing perfectly well that the lane ended and where it ended. Then ducks back in by the paint on his bumpers.

If it was me..I would have let him eat it. I have no tolerance for idiots. Especially when they're on a motorcycle making the rest of us look bad. Now this is not to say that I would've done something to caused him to have wrecked. But if I have to change my driving to account for another guys riding incompetence, then there's a problem.

:withstupi and Jeeps comments on the a-holes trying to ride out the ending lane... just get over and there wouldn't be a traffic jam... they don't get by me if I'm there... on the bike or in the truck... I'll step out and stop em... yes even on the bike, I've held back pissed off SUV drivers... and even threatened to get off my bike!
