:withstupi but the CF looks so cool.
One guy told me not to get CF because the sun fades it too fast and it looks like crap. It's hard to find any sort of educated opinion here. Everyone buys a Harley and pays to be cool. They spend 1000's and end up wrecking 'cause they're too cool to wear stuff like sleeves, boots, those types of things. Everyone else, they come back from deployment and they buy a 'busa as their first ride. Friggin squids...the lot of them! The other guys that actually rode before they got here, they're usually tough to find. The Germans, they have such a hard time modding their bikes due to the TUeV's (kind of like your state safety inspection) ridiculous restrictions and laws. :jacked:

I know a couple ppl that have used CF cans for years no issue, may not want ot if u leave it parked in sun but most dont. Onlt issues ive heard is the cracking under prolonged heat. Some BRANDS, like Two Brothers.. in Specifically their odd finish.. forgot what its called, i've heard faded, but its real specific, nobody outside of them has had probems with it that ive heard of. Muzzys, Akro, Yosh, and D&D.... all from the ppl with their cans on 2+ year old bikes that i know look just like normal still.

For now, she's got.....

Full Yoshi Exhaust
Dark Smoke Windscreen
Solo/race tail
Annodized bolts/screws (which will be replaced, since I hate the color)
Corbin seat

This week she's getting a jet kit
Within the next few months she'll get some frame sliders, and alllll new paint
And those hideous blue bolts will be replaced with new red ones
I planning on getting a custom exhaust bracket so I can eliminate the passenger pegs
And I'll replace the pegs and bar ends with the red annodized to match all the bolts/screws

Oh yikes... sorry (guess that helps) :bonk: ... she's a lil '95 ZX6R we've been restoring.

(the bike in my avatar is actually my boyfriend's CBR900RR)

When it's all said and done, I'm going to get a sticker that reads "Powered by eBay" because sooooo many of her parts have been phenomenal eBay bargains we've stumbled across!

I think most of us have gotten some real steals/deals on eBay. I damn near rebuilt my 998 from eBay. :dthumb:
