I was out riding this past weekend, and as usual I try not to take the same route twice (unless it's a great run). I happened to have my camera with my for some bike shots and I came across this intersection (attached).

I had to stop and take a few pics; One sign completely contradicts another. In fact there is even a flashing red light hanging above the intersection. There is a stop sign, then another below that says NOT to stop if you're turning right. Huh? Regardless of that, there is a flashing red light?!

It wasn't until after I took the photos I realized the STOP was only for left turners, but that's not abundantly obvious. :crazy:

Isn't it a bit of irony, too, that it's "Lookout Drive"? :lol: I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried!

Who comes up with this? Why wouldn't you just have all three ways stop? :screwy:

Having a all 3 way stop would make ppl get confused. LOL Not that they don't get like that now seeing this.

I dont know how drivers are down in bama, but up here, a 3 way stop means, im gonna sit there till the other driver is ready to go, then Im gonna pull out right in front of him!! :screwy:

In Detroit traffic laws are optional. If it is middle of the day you can take them as suggestions. Between the hours of 12am - 4am you better forget them and drive as fast as possible either West or North.

Hey Shan there is one like that in Madison, or it use to be that way when Hughes Rd had that sweet curve in it, where the fire dept is now.

We have our first trafic circle in the mountains of NC.
Not many people no what the heck to do.

Being a Truck Driver I am accustom to these things.
It's almost amusing to watch the confusion.
Unless your in a hurry and three ways of traffic stop trying to figure it out.
I'll post pic's after they get done with construction.
Maybe in a few years! LMAO

Me and Carrie went to get something to eat a few nights ago. We went to the bank right beside Long Johns and then came in throught the back enterence of it. As we were pulling in from the exit, there was the sign that said exit pointing into the parking lot. It would have been one thing if it was turned around or something but it wasn't. I will get a pic of it tonght and post it up.

if u were at the one I was thinkin of, I actually asked the manager about it once..he wants the traffic flow to go around the restaurant,and out the front, not out the back...but sometimes it goes get turned around by ur basic dumbarse teenagers out having fun. :screwy:
