Im starting to distinguish between all the different catagories of bikes. But is there anythign specifically that makes a bike a streetfighter, or a cafe racer or any of the other names I hear.

What would a Ducati Monster be calsified as. How about an SV, What makes these bikes different

That's a good question.
I consider the Monster and SV as street fighters.

I reserve the Cafe title for the older modified bikes. Usually the standard style converted to racer.

The newer fully dressed Sport Bikes striped down (no or hardly any plastic) can be considered as a Street fighter as well.

This is my definition of a Cafe Racer at its finest.

i had high hopes for a caffination of a '74 CL350 of mine, but it just wasnt to be.

me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when i didnt need em, old CB's were everywhere. now.... ZERO. or you can go on ebay, but id rather buy in person.
