Anyone dealt with these guys? I know I should have asked earlier, but I've been looking for a tire hugger for my '98 Gixxer 6. Streetfighters was the only place online that I could find that offered a tire hugger for my year.
I placed an order July 21st, was told they had none in stock but a more expensive carbon fiber one. Wasn't feeling it since I've actually been taking off carbon fiber stuff and especially stuff painted to look like c/f stuff off the bike. Basic black would just be fine. After some more selling the guy accepted I wasn't interested and told me the hugger had to be ordered. Would take 2 - 3 weeks. I would also get a confirmation emailed to me.
3 weeks later nothing. I call, told the hugger is on the next order and will be sent out, should be in this Monday. Mailed to me this Weds.
It's obviously Friday, and of course no hugger. Call again, this would be the 2nd time, and one email correspondence. No responses.
I call today, and get a woman. Seems the salesguy is history, and my tail hugger wasn't on THAT order. Instead it's on one coming in NEXT monday. That one should be mailed to me and sent to me early Septemeber.
The woman apologized, she said the previous salesperson left her a mess. She did promise to finally send me an invoice, which I have recieved. I only hope now, my hugger will actually arrive while I can still ride the bike this year.
