Alright i need all the Gixxer to help my friend out on his 2004 600. He bought the bike used it has a yoshi rs3, the #8 wire was cut by the ecu. We connected it and the F1 light comes up and we cant figure it out if anyone know what cause this. I talked to a suzuki shop and they said it could be a sensor but didnt say what sensor or it could need a cam adjustment or crank adjustment if anyone got information on this help him out

Yeah that does suck man. But even the automakers have been like that for years. It just recently that I have seen a introduction of many more types of engine lights...

well the reason we connected the wire is cause the check engine light comes on when its not connected and it doesnt tell the tempertaure of the bike so it kinda need to be reconnected

On my 03 1000, It was the speed sensor. I used - one tooth front sprocket. On an experiment, I put the stock sprocket back on and the light quit coming on. I've not had any issues with my 05 1000.
