Anybody riding to Sturgis this year? I was up there in my Jeep about twenty-five years ago. It was two weeks before the rally and I had never heard of it. There's some fantastic roads, especially in Custer State Park. One road had one lane and was super twisty. Maybe next year, but I would go before or after the rally.

My husband's going with friends...but with me being pregnant with twins...theres no way I can go :nonod:. I really wanted to, but as far along as I am...we would get there by the time its over, I would have to make him stop every hour and a half so I could pee :here:

so he's going without me this year

Was dreaming of getting there on a HD for the party until I had one... I understand why a lot of those HD riders get there with a pick-up hauling a trailer containing the bikes, the new HDs can sustain more then a 100 miles without an oil refil or parts replacement but trying to do 3500 miles ( Chicoutimi-Sturgis) with a shovelhead or an older bike is more then a trek, its looking for a 3 out of 4 chance of a major problem..... Like Drewpy said the roads & the scenery are probably worth a trip in the area. :dthumb: :iagree:
