OK :wtf: !!! The problem was fixed before...for those of you that remember my last flood and pics....I came home at 2:30 on the way home from a job site for lunch real quick before I went to back to the office to drop off my service van. I got home about an hour later...walk in the door. I see water pouring out of the ceiling...on my LAPTOP!!! :cursin: :cursin: So my laptop is filled with water! I'm pissed off like a SOB!!

I called the maitenance man, and he came over right away. He couldn't figure it out either...there is a living room right above me. We cut a big hole in the drywall and water started pouring out like a water fall. Once we get the drywall cut all the way out...there is no pipes up there at all. The water is pouring in the kitchen also by the way.

We can't figure this thing out at all!!! Even better...this leak is 12 feet or so over from where the last leak was. My neighbor just knocked on my door...her's is starting to leak in the same place both of ours leaked before.

I kept telling the maitanence man I requested a new apartment and wrote two threatning letter last time and they never responded to either of them. He told me he was waiting on the management to call him back.

The manager finally called back. They have granted me a new apartment. This one is in another building but same location, so the floor plan is identical. Some perks of this one are this one is being totally renovated it has a brand new kitchen, floor, oak cabinates, sink, faucet, counter top, new microwave above the stove. The bathroom has a brand new sink, counter, faucet, floor, and toilet. They are getting ready to put the new carpet in next week. The only downfall is I can't move in until wednesday when they are expecting the apartment to be finished with renovation. Oh yeah...and new windows are on the way. One other downfall is...I may not be able to get a wireless signal for the internet..but that's ok...I will just get cable if that's the case.

The laptop was still working with it filled with water...but well see if it boots back up once it dries out. I think I am going to run to maryland for the weekend and stay with friends...I can't live with this rain pouring in my apartment all weekend. The thing that bothers me is...how bad is it going to get...it's suppose to rain all night and all day tomorrow!!!

Here's some pics...well they will have to be approved first I'm sure.
Edit> I am leaving for Maryland...so the pics won't be in here until I get back. I'm sure they will be approved tonight or so...just look in my gallery and you will be able to see the pics.

As some of you may have noticed I just disappeared Friday night after I posted this thread up..The entire situation got 100% worse! I all the sudden heard this loud gushing sound of water almost like a fire hose pouring water out! I look down and see water flowing from my utility closet onto the bottom side of my desktop...So I jump up unplug everything move all my furnature out of the way. Then I go bang on the neighbors door to see what in the hell is going on. My neighbor opens her door and I see the maitanence man standing in her utility closet with his arms smashed against the wall and water expoding out of the wall! It really looked like a fire hydrant was draining...he yelled...I can't hold the pressure! This is just one big F'n mess I've got here. I left for MD for the weekend..I just got back a little while ago..they sucked up the water and cleaned up in here, but they have a big fan and dehumidifier in here. I think it stinks like mold in here...this is so f'n redicoulous! I have more pics that I haven't uploaded yet that I will get to later tonight.

Oh yeah....by the way my laptop that I just paid off last week...yeah it's trashed...filled up with water is no good for it...I will let them move me into the new apartment...then I will be taking this apartment complex to court for a hidden defect of the apartments....I want my laptop replaced! I didn't just bust my ass off for the past two weeks for nothing! I paid off two loan well over $4,000 in two weeks...and now the laptop is trashed...

Here's the pics...

This is what I saw at 4:00 pm.

My laptop was on this table...but I had already moved it.

Here is the laptop filled with water. :cursin:

Here's the water draining in the kitchen.

The kitchen floor soaked.

You can see the water pouring out of the vent...this is where it was draining into the laptop.

This is after the maitanence man got there..we cut a hole in the ceiling...there's no pipes up there. We still don't know where the water was coming from.

I will have more pics to add of the more damage that was done from friday night.

They have a serious problem and you need to make sure you take serious and intense notes and pics. Take them to court and sue them to the wall!

Ok..here is the pics that happend right after I had to shut down the desktop and move it friday night.

You can see the saturated areas flowing from the other apartment, and utility closet.

My computer is usually under the desk there. My file cabinat is always on the side of the desk.

You can see the water spreading all the way out to the back bedroom.

Look how deep that water is!!! :cursin:

That's how much water drained in the kitchen in an hour or less.

This is also about an hour of water...there;s alot more water in there now!

This carpet was just put down friday morning! When I came home for lunch at 2:30 I told the carpet guys they did a really nice job...then it gets ruined that night!

The apt on the right is mine...you can see all that water damage.

This is just so nasty..the smell is killing me here!!!
I'm still so pissed off about the laptop!!!!!!!!!

I'd tell them to put you in a hotel till they can move you. Request it in writing and when they deny do it yourself and save the reciepts!

I just spent $88.07 in gas to drive to Maryland for the weekend so I could stay somewhere else dry. That was not planned for this weekend. I am so burned out on the road right now..I just wanted to relax this weekend, and that got shot in the @ss.

I really can't afford to pay $52.00 a night for a hotel room..when I will probably get screwed and never get reimbursed. Yeah I could swing the money for it...but I just can't take this loss in money right now.

I don't think you need a house you just need a better apt company!
I wrote two or three letters last time which they never responded to either letter! They did come in shampoo the carpets and paint last time, and they told me they fixed this leaking problem.

I am at a loss here....they said they had it fixed..but the first big rain we have had in months this happens to me again!

If they were to give me 3 months rent free after I get my new apartment wednesday I think I might call it even. That would give me the money to buy a new laptop.
