I was looking into getting a tank pad for my bike, but the whole "adhesive" thing kinda bothers me. Is there any other type of tank pad out there? (maybe magnetic or something?) or am I just stuck with the pad once I put it on...?

Oh, and P.S. No bra is going on my bike :tt:

sticky ones aren't as bad as you think. a litle goo gone and you'll be straight. not that you'd want to take it off anyway. FYI. Don't buy one w/ fabric in it.

I use a Tankslapper. Good stuff. You can't even see it unless you look really close.

The magnetics work fine for the casual rider but mover around a bit when slipping from side to side on the bike.

get a Harris tank pad they are awesome. The stickys are really nice and they don't mess up your paint. Here is the one I am going to get for the R1.

That's the perfect example of a good tank pad. Also, stay away from the REAL carbon fiber ones.

A tank bag, either clip-on or magnetic, is real nice. After you use one you wonder how you ever got along without it.

Yeah you want either a Tankslapper or a Invisigard setup (another place to get the invisgard). By far the best! Why cover up your tank. Besides these do the best on every area that needs attention.

Why would you want to put a tire look buckle protector/tank pad and then what when you change tire brans... :bonk:
