In New Here, non-rider from Southern Cali..

HI Everyone! =)

Well I am new here. I have been lurking for a very long time now, when it was very inactive and only but a few threads. I have a passion for both motorcycles and corvettes. I cruised in here from the link in the corvetteforum and have been here ever since. I never registired until now because I dont have a bike nor do I ride. I keep coming back because I have really been thinking about getting a bike and loved the threads in the every-day-riding section seeing how I could learn from experienced riders and maybe not make the same mistakes or even know what to look out for when riding on the streets. Do as much research for when I decided to start riding.

N E wayz, I love the homely enviroment which the mods and admins had made for this place and i want to be a part of it, even If I dont have a bike yet.

Hoping to make many good friendships here, I almost feel like if I know most of you from the numerous threads Ive read.., now its time for you guys to get to know me..

that'll be a true test for us im sure..but i think they'll be pleasantly impressed when we get there. hell, staying in 1 piece on that road, and i'll be impressed with myself :wink:

WOS goes down in early june every year..so at this point, I believe we are planning on going down with them. no firm dates yet, but thats the initial plan..all of TWF is welcome to come..the more the better !!

If we start to plan it now for everyone on TWF..I think we should get a very nice turn out and a huge get together for TWF. I know I'm ready to go.

we've got a thread that we started about this here ..we should probably do it about the same time as the WOS guys, since they are a big part of our site..wouldnt be the same without them. As long as they dont mind of course.

we could definately have a great turnout if plan it enuff in advance. TWF will be well represented there that week!

Yes, the first week of June is the ruff date.

WOS is going to set the date early so everybody can get the vacation time in. However, once we set the date, it is there. There is no changing it. We leave on the w/e...like Sun...ride during the week and leave on the following Sat. You don't want to be at the Gap on the w/e!!!! It sucks, I'm sure Twisty will tell ya.
