well that wouldn't be my first choice for a bike to be introduced to the street on... but can't do much about that now...hey guys i just joined up to this forum and decided i would post a lil something, so here goes. Im a father to a wonderful 3 yr old girl, i have a beautiful wife, a bird and some cats and yes they all get alongSo the reason i joined this thread is to talk about and hopefully learn a whole bunch of stuff :help: See i just bought my first bike today and tho im not totally new to bikes, as i have ridden a couple dirt bikes like 20 yrs ago, and maybe drove about 35 miles on a buddys harley like a year ago oh and also ridden cbr 600 of a friends but just like once. lol Even tho i still got to admit im just a newb on a bike.
So oyur prolly wondering what bike did this guy buy, well being i didnt do any research and didnt really talk to anyone about it i got myself a 2002 cbr954 which only has 2500 miles. The guy that owned the bike had it parked at his buisness (truck accessories) for like the past 3 years and would just drive it around about once a month......anywho its a nice bike a lot different from atvs or dirt bikes and more ummmp than the 600. anyways ive had it for like 10 hrs so far and have just been kinda taking it real easy on this bike as im thinking and being have read a few posts now (to late because i got it allready) that this isnt really a good bike to learn on. especially with a full yoshi exhaust and remapped. the d**n throttle is touchy. im not scared of it but it kinda makes learning hardI guess what i was thinking being im 6'4" and 268 lbs i figured i would need a bike like this and it was a steal as you can notice in the pick. i mean its like a brand new one. ok enough dragging this post out as i have a tendancy to ramble on :thx2: and wish me luck oh yeah advice is greatly appreciated here.
