Maybe. Not all Corbin's are a like. Fact of the matter is that you're on a Hayabusa and it's not a real comfortable bike to ride as it is, the impact of a Corbin on comfort is negligible IMO.
Thinking about a Corbin
Is it worth the $$? I don't really ride all that far, but I keep hearing about Corbin seats.

more cushin for da pushin....? it is a suzuki and all. id try to find a seat that removes easily, the mechanics that will always be working on it will appreciate it!
I didn't think of that. Is the Corbin easy to remove?
I'm interested in this too for my SV.

Probably no on the Corbin question- i recently bought a Corbin for my 99 Busa for a road trip from Seattle to Laguna Seca- The Corbin seats are broad and firm and make it easier to shift your weight a little from side to side, but they are also pretty hard from the factory- After 4 or 5 hours in the saddle, I wished i had the foam filled stock seat back on it- The Busa stockers are pretty comforty- If you are planning a trip- get a Suzuki gel seat for a Hayabusa- Another rider that i rode with had a gel on her SV650- If I could have swiped it for the ride home - I would have- the Corbins are well made and nicely contoured, but I didn't find it any better for a long haul than the stock Busa seat- and the Corbins do fit with the same hardware as stock- they are well made, but still are hard on yer keester on a long haul-

seems to be a split decision here..I can't say for sure, as I've never owned one, but everything I hear about them, people seem to love them, but I can also understand the point about the busa's anyways, however any little bit of comfort will be appreciated by your cheeks.. :thumbs:
corbin seats blow. they're hard. never soften up.

Wow..thats some seriously way cool work there..I wonder if he can do them for any bike, or just busa's ???? I'll have to email him and find out.

Paid big bucks for a Corbin for my CBR 1000. Got the old seat on now. I think the Corbin is made more for the wide-end rider. The Corbin was harder, which wasn't bad, but the back lip of the seat was too far away from the handlebar for me. I had to sit forward of the lip which wasn't comfortable. If my handlebars came back two or more inches, or my arms were longer, the Corbin would have been better. Higher handlebars on the Hayabusa may make the stock seat feel better, as you would sit more upright on your sitting bones.
Corbin seats are ok for some riders and not for others. They are known for being firmer. A buddy installed one on his RC51 and loves it. But that bike barely came with a seat. I personally have never sat on a bad Suzuki seat yet. They all seem to be pretty soft...but who says I know anything, I own a Kaw... :lol:

The Corbin's exclusive Comfort Cell® foam provide a low profile design combined with firm support to make the long ride a great one. I have owned a Corbin seat before and loved it. I used to take long rides on my bike from Pa to NC and it was a great ride and confortable one as well. If your going to go on long rides then I would say its a good idea.

To me, sitting on a Gixxer seat is like sitting on slightly comfortable flat rock. :lol: I guess Im just spoiled by my Kat's nice, full, deeper seat. asked the other half about one of the new corbin seats..and she's like" NO WAY...i dont want a back rest on your sport bike..it'll look stupid!! I like it the way it is, or aleast if you get the seat, dont ever use the back rest!!" :smilelol: I like the seat style alot, so I'll hopefully get one by the spring..minus the backrest obviously.

I have to agree...no back rest. But they are nice to sit on.
