Is it worth the $$? I don't really ride all that far, but I keep hearing about Corbin seats.

If you're going to get a Corbin, ride there and have 'em make it for you. Call them and let them know you're coming. They'll make you comfortable and feed you while your seat is being made. They'll let you try it out and shape it to your butt. They'll let you pick your own fabric and such.

Whatever you do, just don't let them put on red piping. It's ghey. :p
Sargent makes great seats as well. I replaced the front seat and recovered the rear with their matching fabric. Their seat contains a small plastic cylinder for more storage. They have a few different styles of seat covers and I find them very comfortable. They also make a quick release system for removing the seat.

I tried doing a dealer search on www.corbin.com but it keeps coming up with a dealer listing in Florida. I assume you can send them your seat, and have them do it for you? which would be ideal over the winter months when its snowing, sleeting, icing and all that crap around here.

i already emailed corbin for all the details on how to get it done...hopefully santa will be nice to me this december...
Do you want me to talk to Santa for you to be sure you get it? :)
I agree with officermartinez on the suzuki gel seat. i borrowed a friends busa that had one while mine was down and it made a big difference. plus on long trips in the saddle i tend to change seating positions alot like from side to side a little bit. that would be hard to do with a one seating position form fit corbin seat.
Very true.. Never thought about the different riding positions, but it makes perfect sense. I LOVE my Suzuki Gel Seat.. I would not go back to a standard seat. A friend of mine has a Honda CBR 954RR with a Corbin and truthfully, I was NOT impressed. My seat was much more comfortable. Dont get me wrong, Corbin seats are more comfortable than Stock, but even Corbin was beat out in my opinion by the Suzuki Gel! (Just my 2 cents for what its worth)
