some 25 year old built this bike around a stock CBR929 motor for only 50K. he is calling it a custom sportbike, but i gotta be honest, i don't think sportbike at all when i look at it regardless of the engine. what do you all think? is this the future of sportbike customization? it's a sharp looking machine, but calling it a sportbike i think is a bit misleading. i'm interested in hearing your opinions...

reminds me of when they started chopping bonnevilles in the 60's. Not a sportbike, like when Cobra used a CB750 motor in a chopper. Still not a sportbike.

I would call it a cruiser with a dam good engine!!!!!! Its not my cup of tea, but to each their own.

Probably mostly glass with a smaller tank hidden inside.

The only thing that is sportbike is the motor. The seating position doesn't look comfortable at all. I'd rather spend 30K and get a chopper like Gas' or something. I bet it cooks though.

thats the second one i've seen. IN SSB mag. two prints ago, someone built one with a hayabusa engine. . . still doesnt make em sportbikes.

yeah, i remember that one too. that was pretty sharp looking. it's very clever, but not true to the sportbike nature. what a waste of a good engine.
