Throttle Rocker

This was brought up in another thread...

I've had this one for going on 3 years now. I love it! Used it today as a matter of fact. I have the original one and now they have a newer style out.

It is a universal part that slides over your throttle grip. As you place your palm onto it and push down it twists the throttle. What this allows you to do is to do less squeezing! Less of that and the less your hands will go numb and be sore for those long highway jaunts.

Check out the pics and the website links... Throttle Rocker

The homepage for the product shows nothing but the new one. Which is suppose to be easier to get on and off. Which if it's true and still works as well is a plus. Mine is a biet ch to get on due to its tight fit.

Looks like you can get the original for about $11.95 + S&H on ebay and the new ones for $14.50 + S&H EBAY Search

I'm not sold on the new one...

I'd get a original... that I can gaurantee you'll like!
HHMMMMMMMMM (w/ pinky touching corner of mouth). I'm interested...How much of a pain is it to get off? Cuz I really never just go sight seeing. I'll ride a while to a spot that has twisties. If it's gonna suck to get off and on then I won't bother. I'll spend the cash on some gashish.
I shouldn't say it's a bietch... it's like taking off the wedding ring... just not as easy as you may like. But it can just fit in your jacket pocket when not using it, which is what I do.

Don't let that small detail affect your desire to get one... it really is handy for longer h/w trips!
Why pay $11.95 or $14.95 on eBay when they are $10 +shipping directly from their site?
Personally Gas Man, I likew the one you have better. Not so sure if I like the "Velcro" idea. Seems they most likely are able to manufacture it cheaper using the velcro attaching way, in turn making their contribution margin $$$$$
Yeah I'm with ya on the rocker 2... mine looks much better!
I've had one for years. They help a lot when you try to use a crotch rocket for touring.

:iagree: use only for long interstate rides only.
Its just too easy to "blip" the throttle when you really don't want to!
