This has been discussed before on TWF!

I have both! I will wear the tinted if I know that I'm not going to be out at night. Otherwise, I wear a clear and some sunglasses!

It's not the best at night. Don't get me wrong, you can still see through it. It'll be like wearing a tinted visor at night. I don't like to go fast enough that you need to tuck under it at night anyway. The road is coming too fast and your headlight only reaches so far. They look bad ass though.

They suck at night!
I like them for the street.
Clear only for the track.
Blue's and gold's aren't as bad, light smoke maybe, dark smoke forget it, unless you carry a spare helmet with clear shield. :2cents:

This might be a bit off topic, but they do make visor bags that wrap around your rib cage and the strap goes around the opposite shoulder that the visor is on. Best 15 bucks I spent. If it gets dark, I'll just pull over and swap 'em out. When I ride to work it's sunny but when I leave it's 1 AM and I just swap it out. I also have a tinted wind screen but I don't tuck under it at night, but I can still see through it.

well the sporttech black chrome windsheids have a black peice of plastic behind them because the sun was shining though them and magnifying itself and melting the guages. but what is this topic about a helmet visor or a bike wind shield
