Get that fixed ASAP and don't ride much on that fixed tire till you get a new one. We have a thread about fixed tires and its best not to do that but to get a new one. There not safe. :dthumb:

FIX A FLAT!!!! Did you wake up without a BRAIN!!!!! :bash:

That is by far the worst stuff that was ever invented... you'd be better to ride on a flat tire and smoke the tire. Why? Because, you're tire is JUNK regardless... you CAN NOT fix a MC tire SAFELY!!!!!!!!

Bull this is by far the MOST SQUIDLY move you have ever did!!! Take that rim/tire off the bike and get it to a shop!! You have no choice but to buy a new tire and hope that the shop doesn't charge you a arm & leg to get that crap out of the rim.... or have them remove the old tire and YOU chissel that junk out of your rim!

Here's the problem.... FIX / F - UP - A - FLAT...puts air and and foam into your rim and tire. Then you drive on it and as the air sprays out of the hole it eventually pushes the foam thru the hole... plugging it. However, in the process that foam cakes onto the rim and the tire. Then it hardens. Ruining the tire!! Now you have to chissel/sand/ or whatever...REMOVE that stuff off the inside of the rim!!! If you don't, you will get severe wheel shake and it will be near impossible to balance the new tire on the rim!

Which tire was it? Front or rear?

GO OUTSIDE TO YOUR GARAGE AND THROW OUT EVERY CAN OF THAT CRAP!!!

put the cans in your truck... dont toss em..lol id rather use that in my truck then run it on the rim.....but dont use it on a bike, and your gonan have hours of fun to get it all cleaned up. But yeah get a new tire

As your tire wears low.. the rubber gets harder too....so u get less traction on a worn tire... get rid of it and youll feel like its a new bike again with all theadded traction a new tire will give ya.

u wouldnt feel it first it would just blow... i dont htink it would cause a catastrophy, but make ya swerve a bit and leave ya stuck... neither option good for an rider... the swerving would be real bad for a enw rider and in a turn bad news for any rider.

Just get it changed and forget it.

Blow out are uncommon if you keep a check on tire pressure and a visual of the ware to look for slick spots and punctures.
Flats on the other hand do happen. If you check before you ride then you will know.
If it happens while you are ridding you can fell it at the start once you know your bike and pay attention to what its doing.

Bull....you're still losing your virginity here my friend. It is not worth riding it at all. You lose air or worst, have a blow out and you're in deep.......... I know, you love to ride and tires are expensive...blah blah blah. You been down yet Bull??????? I have and so have many here...there's nothing fun about it. I got lucky, mine was a low side. Most blown tires result in high sides. Ask anyone who has high sided, they'll tell you it sucks. Moral of this story, quit posting looking for someone to say it's OK to ride on that junk tire because you will not get anyone on this forum to agree with your reasoning for riding. If you can't afford it right now, then save up, let the bike sit for a few weeks. It's worth it in the end.

Good point Chev... my crash was a high side... and a mild one at that... and it sucked. The only thing that saved my ar se was my leather gear and the boys behind me not running me over!!! :dthumb:
