I've noticed my Bridgestone Battlax BT020's are a bit noisy on relatively new asphalt. If I lean, they don't make any noise (they're dual-compound tires for those that don't know).
I like these tires a heck of a lot more than the Metzler MEZ4's that came stock, but they never made any noise.
Seems odd for a tire with a minimal tread pattern.
