IDK what bike your speaking of but, a TRE is designed to let the motor run when the ECM is trying to slow it down. Not even much to a TRE to go bad unless you have it laying on something hot. I'm guessing you need some adjusting on the valve train or cam chain.:luck:
Tre Question
WELL MY BIKE IS MAKING A WEIRD TAPPING SOUND AND I JUST HAD GOTTN MY MOTOR REBUILT.... THE BOTTOM END IS TOTALLY REBUILT AND THE TOP END GOT NEW VALVES , VALVE STEMS AND TIMN CHAIN TEN AND ONE MORE THING I CANT REMEMBER.... BUT ANY WAYS ITF A TRE IS BAD WILL IT CAUSE THE MOTOR TO TAP:here:
