I am with you MD Steve. Not literally but I am getting married June 3 so no ahh ahh for me. Yeah right like I could see it - dear I will be gone all week riding the dragon and I will return the day of the wedding. No dice there. This also means that date will never be good for me - ever - not unless I want a divorce. So either count me out or start brainstorming some bs about barometric pressure or more likely alien abduction on that day of the year or something so I can talk her into pushing the wedding back a couple of weeks and then pray the hall, church, DJ, photographer, etc. etc. can all do the same. Otherwise have a good time.

If anyone is interested in another date to go to the gap I would entertain that idea as well. My cries fell on deaf ears at the WOS meeting last night because that is the "only" week that it isn't busy - hmm, ever consider the 2nd week of May? Nope. They won't either. The third week sure it is busy but according to the all knowing Twisty that is the ONLY good non-busy week at the Gap. Also the cheap fouckers "have" to get that extra day off which is Memorial Day - like it would kill them to take an extra vacation day. Whatever. Have fun. I have a crew in Nashville that I can hook up with of about 20 bikes to go over to the Gap pretty much anytime so I will probably just do that.

Either we need to shift the date which obviously is impossible because God himself came down last week to Twisty and said the 11th commandment is thou shall go to the gap memorial day week and no other week or you mfrs need to help me scheme up something to push off my wedding so we can ALL be at the Gap and you ALL can come to my wedding - get it, got it, good. Now get to work you useless pukes. You are ZERO help. We need to set this plan into overdrive before it is too late. Operation Mudpuppy to the Gap along with Operation WOS/TWF at Mudpuppy's wedding. ok, so we'll officially chill with the date until WOS figures out what they are doing about MP's wedding, correct ?

No per the Prez of WOS and the Almighty 5 Power Twins that went last year the date WILL NOT change. So count on that week and count me out, that is unless I get my wedding changed or I kick the beotch to the curb. Neither one is likely right now. I will probably just hook up with my Nashville connection and hit the gap that way. Maybe see if I can stir up Kdog out of Bama or something. :luck:

depending on when you go..u might be able to stir up shan too..he'll may have some problems getting up here for our rally cuz of the addition on the way around that time.

That would be cool. Yeah this sucks. I was so looking forward to going. Name 50 weeks out of 52 and I could go but no it has to be "that" week. It just won't be the same going with a different crew - it will be cool but WTF. No one even discussed this, obviously Shan had zero input. But whatever.

That sounds very cool Tifosi, I broke down in my Jeep in Oak Ridge once.

It does suck for those that can't make the Memorial week trip but Labor Day weekend is like the busiest weekend at the Gap, loaded with traffic and idiots sounds like no fun to me. Well....I should rephrase that - I deal with traffic and idiots everyday, but the Gap + traffic and idiots is a nightmare.

Um did you and Ace take the same class of NOT PAYING ATTENTION? I know the "Fab 5" as you are a part of and I make no mistake that I will speak my mind when I am pissed off about something that just isn't right - like 5 people making the decision for everyone else without considering one iota of their input but read my post again - NOT LABOR DAY WEEKEND - The week after Labor Day - how busy will that be? Let me check - probably not because kids are in school, etc. But I know the Almighty Twisty has spoken as the leader of the Fab 5 and Memorial Day Week is the ONLY week that is good at the gap. Whatever.

As far as July I could do that. I am flexible I can do any week except for Memorial Week (obviously) or the week after. Other than that I have 52 weeks open. Of course we have burned two of those and the week after my two weeks after might be bad so I am down to 49 - sorry for being so difficult.. lol..

So with that short response in mind let's discuss July and/or Labor Day and get something planned. Oh and BTW comments from the Fab 5 or anyone else that has derogatory unfounded BS to say will be disreagarded so don't waste your time continuing to post it here. We are trying to "plan" a trip and although I know you have no concept of planning or considering other people's schedules and we value your valuable input - save it for the judge. Peace, out.
