No per the Prez of WOS and the Almighty 5 Power Twins that went last year the date WILL NOT change. So count on that week and count me out, that is unless I get my wedding changed or I kick the beotch to the curb. Neither one is likely right now. I will probably just hook up with my Nashville connection and hit the gap that way. Maybe see if I can stir up Kdog out of Bama or something. :luck:Need4Speed750 said:

so far we have a few members who cant make it down for this date.. so remember put up in here as early possible if u can or cant go ... this date isnt set in stone for TWF yet..lets try to get as many as possible to go down there.

OK since the other thread was closed for no reason I will re-add.
I am not going to be able to make it to the Gap at the begining of the ride. My sons birthday is June 1st. I can not miss that for the world. That would break his little heart and mine. I will be able to make it down there after this for the 2nd to the morning of the 4th.

Please check the initial post in this thread, as I have changed it a bit. If those of you that cant go, are able to go on a different date(s)...be sure to post it up here.

I would like to go, my only problem with commiting right now is that it's far away and I just started a new job, won't have vacation time by then. I will probably do like last time and just tell them that I need the time off w/o pay and ride over there.
You see my bike and yes "I" will be the last one in the pack. The lasst time I went it was Mini Cooper week and that kinda sucked.
This is the schedule from last year and alot of the groups make this an anual trip also so you can see that there are going to be quite a few people there.
May 23-30 Kawasaki's ZX-12R Owner's Club will rally at the Dragon!! We were there last year for the
first time and loved it, though are group was small. This year we should have 40 or more!!! CLICK HERE for more info.

WOS hit the gap this same week last year for a reason....it's right after the holiday and NO clubs down there. Meaning....minimal traffic and excellent riding. Hell, we rode one of the roads in the area for something like 40 or 50 miles without even seeing anyone. This is definitely a great week to go, no doubt about it. As for schedule when out there...we'll have a plan in place due to our experience from last year but there are so many roads out there....we have more to discover and conquer. Twisty, I've been looking around and can't seem to beat that deal on a house (your hotel deal). Might be the best bet. As for distance to the Gap from Twisty's hotel.....maybe 10 minutes or something in that ballpark. Not bad at all.
