what's up my two wheel friends. lol
going to buy a new bike in the winter i try to buy a new bike every couple of years. mostly been gixxers. but im looking for something diff this time around.
im putting around now on a 03 gsxr1000. rode the new gsxr can get over the tail section. im a tall guy 6'6 and my foot keep hitting the tail so.. no good for me. i know the big four are coming out with new stuff this year. anything new from yam.kaw.hon. or is the k5 gsxr1000 still gonna be the king of the hill? ideas? or is it to soon to call? thanks :twfrox:

I'd say if you're on a 1000 now, you will want to stay with a 1000. Look into the yamaha R1. But then again, ya just gotta set on these bike now to tell.

i heard that. its hard tryin to find a good bike that feels right under you. if ur 6'6 like me .. can we say riders cramp! when do most companys put out there new bikes for the up coming year? october?

Shouldnt see too many changes from the big 4 this year coming up really.. they always have minor ones besides the paint scheme..but the ZX10 new body style has been out for only a couple years now, the 1000RR is due for some style changes but dont know if Honda is doing it in 2006. The new Gixxer is just redesigned so nothing more than some new paint schemes will probably come of it, but u never know. The R1 is one where you might see a few changes, in the brakes and suspension, but we'll see.

I can imagine some changes to the 10R are in order. Something to put a stake in the king of the hill again. It is really close the new GSXR 1K and I figure they'll want to do something.

maybe just maybe they will take the stupid tach off the 10r and ill buy one. i like the 10r but the tach has got to hit the road!
