No heat shield yet. I plan on using an aluminum sheet and bending it around the muffler then placing another sheet over it using 1/3" spacers to separate the two plates and mount the lower plate to the plastic around it. I'll use the space available, after installation of the second sheet, to put the tool kit and other stuff on. If I find some heat resistant filler material I'll place that between the two plates. And of course I plan on painting the plates flat black like the plastic.
I'm also having the mid-pipe ceramic coated a dull titanium so once that's done I'll post pictures of the entire bike with everything on it or what I call the semi permanent look before the heat shield.

that pic looks like the IXIL exhausts.. which ive heard good things aobut quality, hich is funny cuz they are made in Mexico.
