Velocity Stacks....any noticeable difference?

I've noticed that just about every tuner is offering aftermarket velocity stacks along with power gains of around 2-6 horsepower. I was curious if anyone has swapped their's out and if any difference was detected. Thanks.

I put them on my race bike, I dont care for them, it felt like I was losing the bottem end.
