Vespa on the eway
Saw a Vespa on I696 a couple of days ago - is that even legal? I don't think so. I think he went from Hilton to Woodward - kind of like the far right lane exit lane for like 1/4 mile - still I was cruising on the R6 around 85 or so and looked over and saw the gay looking fellow on a powder blue vespa on the freeway - he was wearing a full face helmet, shorts, t-shirt, etc. - I was like WTF? lol...

Personally, I prefer driving the vette when it's under 40 degrees, snowing, raining, when I have to dress nice for work, going out on a date, etc. I just have to live with the fact that my bike is faster. Darn.

vettes are a joke.. you couldn't pay me to own one.. that is the flagship of Chevy? Tells you alot about Chevy.. Try a Ford GT.. Now there is a real car to brag about not some overpriced underpowered piece of garbage like a vette.. I doubt it's legal. At least around here, "motor-driven cycles" are illegal on expressways. I would think a scooter would be in this class.

A stock C5 will do 175 - 178. A late generation Corvette might not keep up with a sportsbike (because nothing can), but it's far from overpriced or underpowered. A C5 has 350HP, and a C6 has 400. It's more power for your money than almost any other car out there. The only other two that have similar value are the GTO and the Mustang Cobra, and a Vette is faster, better looking, and better handling than either of those.Mighty proud of you - glad you love your pos vette so much.. Please note that is costs more than three times what a Corvette costs, and it's only a bit faster. No other car will get you the looks, power, and handling of a Corvette without spending twice as much or more.
