ok, stupid french..... it didnt mention it needs some bolts and things that you gotta go buy at the store.,.....plus that the whole tray trunk thinggy has to be removed to install it....i guess im gonna have to start figuring out how to mold and join plastic so i can make a custom trunk tray when i am done with the tail to keep my insurance and all that in.

And to top it is said it comes with a mounting bracket for the license plate then it didnt come with ANYTHING but the undertail itself. Damn french people!..I'm gonna go bake tater tots now instead of fries.

its turning into a pain in the a$$ now..lol
I need to cut my tray so i can still keep the mount for the emissions canister, and i wanna keep my toy kit with the bike as well... so im dremilling away to make this work out right, but its cool to have rear blinkers agian... and the BMW Projector beam type blinkers built into the tail look like they are gonna be VERY bright... its gonna be cool.. after the hours of prep to get it ready to pop in.

im way behind on keeping up with technoilogy these days... dont have a digital camera.. or a normal one really, cuz i hate developing film... but when my roomate gets home ill take pics of soem of it so u can see what all had to be done.....total PITA, but its gonna look nice. This new tail covers the battery box and everything, much cleaner then the factory undertail, or the hotbodies tail.

its on and done now, just need to be hoem when my roomate is to borrow his digital camera. It looks good, but i gotta go to Kawi today and get the lil retainer pins cuz i accidentally stepped on and broke 2 of em...can add another 3$ to the total install price.. which still even after those and bolts i had to buy comes out under 280$ painted to match and installed...coulda gone hotbodies for cheaper but it wouldnt be unique.. ill try and get pics while its light out today, but not sure what time he gets home from classes

if you have any old plastic tubs from butter, some felt a hot glue gun and a couple magnets you can make yourself a nice parts bin... just glue the magnets to the bottom of the tub, then glue the felt to the magnets(so you don't scratch paint, though I still wouldn't sticket directly to my bike or car's finish) the magents will also help keep the nuts and bolts in the bin...
I made about 6 of them... and counting the butter and all the materials it cost me about $20... but have saved me from loosing/breaking pieces like this countless times... just an idea:2cents:
