Congratulations. But I am an internet moron. What does a moderator do?

They basically try to make sure everyone gets along within reason so a forum doesn't turn into a giant pissing match. So, essentially they get four to five hundred instant messages and emails daily from various peole whining about various bull**** or kissing your ass until they finally just snap and start locking threads and banning people. It's be a cool job if you got paid for it.

Of course, I'm being somewhat sarcastic. :dthumb:
