Looking at the hundres of other "insurance rant posts" you will see
that what other people pay is completely irrelevant ! the only quotes
that matter are the ones YOU get :yikes:
True but, I guess it helps to know some good places to start the search.

I have Ryder insurance and Pay $150.00 year. 36 married and "knock on wood" no violations on record. That is not bad for a 1000cc sport bike.

I was paying $510 a year for full coverage, with $500 collision deduct and $100 comp deduct thru state farm. (the most popular comany on all MC forums)

The chopper will cost me $660 a year with the same coverages. Not bad considering SF rates your MC insurance on motor size and the chopper will have over twice the motor size and about 3.5 times the value.

I pay only $265 for pretty good coverage with State Farm on a 900cc bike. I'm in Illinois.

Rates will vary widely depending on your location, size of bike, and ins. company.

Not sure what the premium is just for my bike. I pay $133 a month for full coverage on my 2000 S-10 and 2004 R6 (just theft and collision on the bike)-$300 deductible. It will go down when it re-news too because I got promoted. I deal with USAA. Age has a lot to do with it.
