what boots are reccommended and where to get them.
i am leaning towards sidi, but dont know which ones to get and why.
i havent really considered any other brands.

what do you all think?

I have Alpinestar's SMX+ boots. They are great, but they were a bit squeaky, 'til I lubed em up

I too have been kicking around the boot idea. I am just interested in a pair for joy riding. So I have to beleave it will be this pair from E-bay. Check ou the link.

Personally,this is a tough one for me,I have been lookin at gettin a set also and I would reccomend ones that aren't too stiff but have some impact type protection...I went and bought some new high dollar dirtbike boots after always using a more simple type boot and found them as stiff as ski boots,too much plastic,no give like when plain leather breaks in.I can't even use em',the ones earlzach pictured look descent.

I have Nitro V boots, but I know Sidi quality would be a lot better.

I've had 4 pairs of SIDI, 2 pairs of Alpinestars, 2 pairs of Frey-Daytonas and 1 pair of Gaernes and the best boots FOR ME are the Daytonas and the Gaerne. Very comfortable and well-built. My Gaerne are my current track boots:

maybe in CA, but here in PA there are very little motorcycle stores that have boots in stock to try on. of course they all are willing to order in what you want, but how do you know if you will like their comfort and fit? all i can do i do some research on my own and hope it all works well. i think i am going with a pair of sidi vertebra.
