I use Goo Gone. Just give it a sec to let the action take place, then wipe it off. There are also some wipes called, Bug and Tar remover, they work well also

Nice tips guys. I have a solid Black bike even the wind screen is solid black and even after I clean and wax I can see bug guts in spots. I will try the turtle wax Bug and tar remover. I like T/wax stuff anyhow on my truck. Call me old. :dthumb:

Try the yellow spray can of Turtle Wax bug and tar remover. It's like a foam that goes on...let it sit for 30 seconds and a simple light wipe of a rag will take the bugs right off. I originally bought it to get tar off my yellow truck.. it works great on bugs and tar. You know a yellow truck attracts bugs like no other, and shows any black marks.

I too use the Pro Honda cleaner/polish. Stuff works fantastic... when I'm feeling lazy and don't actually want to wash it, I clean the whole bike with this stuff and it comes out great. Actually the pics I just posted the other day of my bike, I had just used this stuff over the whole thing before I went out there.

For the helmet visor, when I'm at home I just use Windex and a blue shop towel. When out on a ride though, I carry a package of Windex Wipes in my bag, those things are the shiznit! My package of wipes quickly became very popular at the last group ride (and trust me, out in the everglades we get plenty of bugs!! haha)

You got that right. All i buy now is grey and silver. LOL you can get away with about two washes a year, But the bike had to be black. I didnt leave that wide open for debate.I would have took a silver But black was first and formost the prefered color. I love it. :dthumb:

I will go to walmart tomorrow and look for it or pepboy's should have it. Thanks for the tip. I hate bugs.
And FYI!! If Noah had been truly wise, He would have swated those two flies.

tried some SR100 this last weekend on a recommendation from a Harley owner friend of mine...stuff worked darn well. Like the Honda stuff, spray it on, let it sit then hose it off. spotless.
Glad to hear someone else had tried this. I had a military guy come into the shop and bought 6 five-liter bottles of the stuff. Said him and his buddies love the stuff! I haven't had a chance to try it, but he swears by it.

Honda cleaner is definitely awesome to use for cleaning stuff, too. There's lots of good tricks out there for cleaning crud off your bike.

I use A/C canopy cleaning stuff ( mostly plastic cleaner) for plastic parts of the bike and my helmet, it doesn't leave any residue and do not damage or scratch my visor. I am using it mainly because it works well and I have access to the stuff for free. :D .

I've used the S100 and wasn't really that impressed. Simple water and auto wash soap and about 10 min of washing and its clean of bugs and significant dirt. Washings are weekly, along with my daily driver cage.

After my rides, I always clean the helmet with a spray bottle of all water and two drops soap. Spray and wipe with towel. I thought "cleaners" degraded helmet materials

Honda polish rocks!!! WHile at Deals Gap and the Wheelers place they had Plexus that I used to clean up my bike. It worked rather nice too. But my $$$ goes to Honda Polish, even use it on my car sometimes.
