Ok,
I have a friend who says he uses these on his GSXR1000. He has wrist problems and swears by them. I have severe carpal tunnel in my left wrist. I'm actually having to have surgery on august 11th. I'll be off the bike for about 6 weeks. I was thinking about getting a pair of these to maybe get back on the bike sooner. Anyone on here have any experience with them at all? Thanks for the feedback.

There is so many threads and opinions on this forum about this. It is like a cruise control, they are great for long str8 roads or interstate rideing only. You don't want to be on a twisty with one of these.

Actually, no from what I see, this isn't anything like a cruise control. This is more designed to keep your hands somewhat straighter on the grips.

it is also used by most people as a form of cruise control...this basically lets you realax your hand from gripping the throttle for extended periods of time.

It'll make all the difference and it's inexpensive. I think everyone should at least try them.

I bought one for my ride down to the gap. Best $15 i ever spent. Mine did loosen up in the severe rain on the way home though. but, had i tightened it properly it woulda held.

My advice. Buy two. and stick the other one under your seat. you wont regret it.

I have throttlemeister barends on my bike and I still use the rocker for highway riding. It does help relax your grip alot, but like others said, don't use it on the streets or twisties.

i just ordered a clip-on one from competitionaccessories.com for $8.99 but it is too loose on my grip. i'm gonna send it back and exchange it for one that velcros for $9.99. can't wait to try it out.
