KP has been down for several days now..havent gotten any emails or updates from the admins at all..a few people I talk from there havent heard anything either. kinda sux since they just got their own dedicated server too.

yeah..i tried to ping them as well, and got nothing..like they dropped off the face of the earth. I know the admins' been pretty pissed off late from all the problems and bitch threads that have gone up..wonder if he just pulled the plug for awhile..they've got a new dedicated server so it shouldnt be a hardware/software issue unless somethings really wacked out with their RAID or something, similar to what happened here recently....but something tells me theres more than meets the eye since nobody seems to know anything.

I can tell you this much, that won't happen here. If we have an outage, it's only because of some kind of hardware or software glitch.

Not saying that's not the case with KP...

lets hope its just hardware/software related..or their's going to be a net revolt of a ton of unhappy Kat riders

Without a doubt. I am going to get a hold of Svafa and Matt this weekend. They know a bunch of peoples emails and the like.

i looked up zleviticus, and also emailed cyberpoet to see if he had some more info as well.

What is Todds(Katman) other forum? Maybe we can peek in there to see what's going on.

he's involved in www.supersportbikes.com to some degree, which I post in, along with being here..the 2 main places I post for the most part...I thought about emailing him there, but didnt wanna bring up any bad karma since im still kinda new over there.

other than that, im not sure where else he's involved at.

de jeavu(sp?). it's like KP in here now! I would have told bunch of peeps about TWF, but unfortunately all the e-mail add i have is on KP(what a biatch, right?) I just hope some of the few folks who sent me an e-mail responds when i e-mail them! we'll just have to wait and see....

Yeah I know what you mean..I have a bunch of PM's from people on KP, but not too many email addys, so I just tried to talk to some of the ones I have on AIM or in email, and nobody still seems to know anything. Still waiting for cyberpoet, and a few others that I actually have their email addresses for, to get back to me, so we'll see.

geez, what is it with that place..everybody is usually so talkative over there , and are normally pretty quick to respond to emails..but nobody seems to be talking at all

thanks for the link n4s750. maybe their slow to respond mainly(atleast for me) because they got "blind sided" too. and to make things worst, nobody seems to know what the hell happened. I feel bad for the people who "Donated" over there! dont Mods or whoever runs the site send out e-mail notices explaining what caused the site to go down? (atleast those who "donated $$$"?) just my $.02

alittle update I found out over at SSBC...the owner over there knows Todd, the owner of KP, he said they are going thru a major server upgrade, but doesnt know when it will be back up...so according to him anyways, that appears to be the reason for them being down...I still think there's more than meets the eye to this..but who knows. Odd still, that nobody else knows anything or responds back to emails, etc.

You're a beast!! I've got a TWF link in my signature over there. Yeah, I'd definately wanna hear some reason as to why nobody was contacted about the outage, whatever the reason was. REally makes you feel appreciated by the owners/mods when nobody says anything.

Sorry, I've been gone the past few days. Friday - Milwaukee, Saturday - Badger Football, Sunday - Blackhawk NESBA. The rest of the time has been spent busy at work.

I got your email messages/phone voicemail and I replied to Eric and Kevin via email and PM at MSB. Mark (Wingspan) sorry, my phone was off when you called so it didn't record your number and I don't have it so I couldn't call you back.

I didn't sell, close, or give up on KP. C I Host is in the process of setting up the new server, which as of now is supposed to be live. I then had to switch over to the new DNS IP's and now it's just a matter of waiting for the servers to update and then KP will be up and running again.

I don't know why the DNS is taking so long to update, I'll be calling CI inthe morning to find out what is going on.


Dont know when this was sent...but it isnt the first time it's gone down like this..or for one reason or another..
