I had problems after the stage 3 jet kit, K&N, and full yoshi race exhaust were installed. I raised the question to the suzuki shop, when my plugs kept gett fauled out, they asked me what mods I have so I told him. He said Oh [email protected], I know what it is...you need to run a "hotter" plug. Its been almost 2 years since I have replaced those plugs but I still don't have ANY problems what so ever with them. I can't remember what the model was, but I know it is a NGK plug.

NGK is fine...if you are fouling plugs, you need to be tuned properly. Installing a hotter plug just masks the real problem.

Now, on my modded WRX I run one step colder plugs and I use the ND Irridiums...

I use the standard NGK plug that Honda recommends, but I use the non-resistor type (DP9EA-9 instead of DPR9EA-9). Non resistor plugs give a hotter, but shorter spark than standard resistor plug. I also took out the resistor in the spark plug wires.

All I know is the bike fires right up after 1 crank cold and 1/2 crank hot, after 2 years of the same NGK plug I don't know if there ever was a problem, but these NGK's are great.

NGK Iridium all the way!! I noticed a little difference with them. They fire like 30% more accurately than platinium. :2cents:
