Alot of talk from people about cell phones, dead spots, and different companies...

What do you use?

I use Sprint and have for about 8 years. As far as the others, Sprint has always been the best! And they have great phones.....

I always use Sanyo phones because they recieve better signal than the other crap brands like motorola, LG, and samsung... this is also a part of the problems with some of the service brands.

At work, we've had Nextel and now Verizon (with 2 way).... the Nextel's BLEW!!! I hate Nextel... too many dead spots and no roaming capability!!

Verizon is ok, but their 2-way BLOWS!!!!

Sprints 2-way is AWESOME!! So clear and alot faster connect than Verizon. WAY clearer than Nextel's!!!

I know but I figured I wasn't sure it wasn't official and many people have had one service or the other for years... and then maybe they can say the service has got better or worse sense the merger!

We'll see...

Yeah, that happens... I know that many places there are one or no companies that work! So maybe that's why somebody chooses that company....

I've got Cingular... overall no real problems with them. I've driven from Chicago to Key West and never had any reception problems unless I'm waaaaay out in the middle of nowhere, it'll drop a call here and there but still work. Can't really complain I guess... had it for about 3 years now (and still on the same Nokia phone... it's a friggin dinosaur!).

My dad has Sprint for several years now and he's been very happy with that too. I notice alot more dropped calls with his phone though (Samsung) than with mine... mine rarely ever does

I use Verizon! Its the only damn one that works well in my area.
They owen 90% of the towers in this area and creates higher charges for the other companies that don't work in a lot of places.

The key with most cell phones is to update the software in the phone. Most can be done over the phone as long as you're in a digital area. If not in a digital area or the update is needed to be done directly into the phone via a cable...take it to a service counter and get it done. That will correct MOST all dropped call problems!!!

Tmobile

i like em, better reception then sprint in BFE areas here.. theres a 200 mile stretch with no Sprint Service here but my Tmobile covers like 60 miles of it.... Liked Sprint as long as i was in town... but u get in the Sierra Nevada mountains off of the freeways and Sprint doesnt cover a peanut sized spot out there....

You may be right... I just though I heard what I said before...

Heck, at least Catherine Zeta-Jones is better lookin than my Sprint guy and the dorky/annoying Verizon guy!!!!

The verizon guy ruined the phrase... "Can you hear me now?"

I have Nextel. Been with them for two years. Haven't had a problem with them yet. The suck a$$ thing is you have to get the software upgrades every once and while to update the phone service and roaming area. Other than that I like Nextel. :)
