hi with the help of the guys on twf i found a used gsx600 for almost nothing!!

i was just wondering what i could put on it that looks cool but doesnt cost to much?

ps: its a 2003. sorry no pics yet :sorry:

There lots of things you can do. A braada concepts solo cowl is one thing.. get rid of the stock katana emblems, paint the belly pan to match the rest of the bike smoke or mirrored windscreen, aftermarket exhaust, chop off the shovel (fender eliminator) , illumiglo gauges, fibre lyte dash, etc etc.

thanks for the input guys but i dont have a katana. i have a 2003 suzuki gsxr 600cc bike. i got it from a friend for 5g,s the only aftermarket stuff it has are- carbon gauge trim-carbon gas cap trim and xenon headlights.

ps: do you guys know of any (street legal) body kits?

The pic of N4S's katana was just to give you an idea for graphics, and paint. I'm sure. i would say just go with a custom paint job and you are good to go. I have a custom marbalized dark blue with PPG blue pigment sparkle in mine right now. It gets SOOO many looks and compliments. However I am getting a new custom paint job later this year.. same concept but silver. I got to see a preview of what it will look like over the weekend..ahhh sweet I can't wait.

edit>> the first dark blue SV in my signature is my bike..you really can't see the custom paint on it unless you see it in person. Under floresent light it really sets off.

We just assumed you meant a GSXF Katana.

As for the GSXR What kind of body kit are you asking for? Do you need replacement parts?

The only other body kit I know of will make it look like a Ducati on the front but, You can get race stuff (factory look) for allot less.

I get my paint jobs done for free, but I will have to pay for material this time..but my painter said a custom paint job like mine runs $3500.00 Guys with goldwings and harley's are paying well over 5000.

Depending on what you want. Paint and graphics will coast you any where from $200 to maybe $10,000. Id ride that thing for a while before thinking about anything like that. :2cents:
