I really like the FZ1 and Z1000 alot myself...with the motors being similar to that of there sportbike counterparts, they've got more than enuff power & torque, to keep me happy..and you just cant beat the seating position either. ride all day and be king of the iron butts. :lol:

I would prefer to have the engine of the FZ1 now, but this was my first go at "sport" bikes so I went with the smarter beginner 600. I love it though. I can ride all day with it's more upright riding position. And since the majority of my riding is commuting, it's great.

yeah it called for a single answer but i left the option open to vote for more than one, just because sometimes I just cant decide what i like best, so i gotta give some props to more than 1.

I voted for both the Kawasaki's. I love the Z1000 but I'm not ready yet for that much power (or the price) so I will be getting the Z750. The Z750 outperformed the other bikes in this category in a magazine shootout that I bought back in late summer. Handling, speed, and comfort were some of the contention areas. Until I read that article I was quite torn between the Triumph Speed Triple and the Z1000 (course later I decided to downsize the engine). As for a Triumph in the Z750's range, I don't care for the way the Speed Triple sits.
