I know that many of us talk about what we do for a living. Maybe we can talk about it all in one thread. Instead of spread out in many threads...

So what do you do for a living?

I work for a petroleum pipeline & terminal company. We own/operate/and maintain a underground pipeline and tank terminals. We are like the UPS or USPS of the gas industry. We don't really make the product we ship it. We ship say, Marathon gasoline from their refinery to their tank farm/terminal say 200 miles away and charge them a teriff.

*Sighs* Well I wish I could say I'm Livin' la vida loca, but I'm a stay at home mother of two. Austin who is 6 and Brianna (Breezy) who is 2. Anyone who says that being a stay at home mom is a cake job, needs to have their damn head examined. From 630am (Somtimes 730am) I get up, get Austin ready for school, talk to Allen for a bit when he comes home from work, then I walk my mile before Breezy gets up. Get her up feed her, clean, do laundry, plan out the rest of the day, take the kids to the park if it's nice, (It's been nice for the past few days YAY!) I'm usually too damn tired by the end of the night that when I TRY to sleep I can't. Which is why my fat a$$ is on here at night time posting...

(OHHHH...I guess I could throw in that I take care all of Allen's calls and send out paper work (Contracts and surveys) for his DJ company. My hubby is a professional Disc Jockey based out of our home. :dthumb: )

Hi... I'm a Network Support Specialist... I support two facilities in the Houston area... just about 225 uses... just a step down from the other 3 facilities that I used to support which was about 375 users... Seems like the work load here is much lighter... but I'm not complaining... Just one of the 2 techs that can be sent to any facility in the company and successfully support all the users single handily...

I spent 5+ years doing vehicle brake system development and at the beginning of 2005 I stepped into the operations/finance side of things and am now doing cost estimating. All of this at TRW Automotive. My job consists of working with all the shooters over here and making sure we win business and at the same time make a good profit. It's a different world but I'm enjoying it considering I got my masters in Management/Industrial Operations.

I am Zone Manager contracted to Ford Motor (MSX) to do all their reproduction work. Being contracted to the big three is not all that great when they are looking for more ways to cut cost and reduce their head count. I also am a supervisor at Detroit Metro Airport for the Parking Lots (City Central Parking). I have my Bachelors in Management/Business Administration.

I went to school for, and used to work as, an Airframe Mechanic at American Aviation in Oscoda, MI. I freakin hated it. Way too much stress, not my cup of tea. Also have B+W Photo experience, although not too much call for B+w anymore... soooooo.... back in school for me, dropping LCC like a bad habit though. And for the time being? Pizza Delivery Baby whoooooooo!
