I have never dropped my helmet I have now, just seeing if anyone replaces them on a regular bases? Do some of you replace after 2-3yrs or what?

definately replace any helmet after a crash, where the helmet hits the pavement...helmets are made to work once, thats it......at least thats what ive always been taught..

as far as replacing a non crashed helmet, i think they will break down after many years (not 2 or 3) but i think we all get bored with a helmet before they break down....

hehe, lot of guys use to try to get away with stickers on the helmet to hide damage and get thru tech, but they got wise to that move,....bottom line, if you crash and the helmet hits the ground hard, its toast...get a new one.

tech is an inspection you have to go thru before you get on to a track, whether its a track day or a race weekend...
