It's now Monday. I was wondering where everyone rode this weekend. Me and two thugs (whom have been known to frequent this great site) rode to Georgia and went to some bizarre motorcycle accessory place. I say bizzare b/c they sell a mixture of junk...from Kymco motorcycles to gear for infants.

I didn't ride as some idiota stole my plates. Reported it to the police though.

As for the ride to Georgia, where (like what town) was this shop in?

Well, I guess this is one of the thugs...1 or 2 ?? We rode to Thomasville, in Georgia to go to the Honda shop...99birdV6 has made a deal to sell his SV and we went to Georgia to look at an '03 600RR with less than 1K mileage...for way under blue book :yikes: And yes the chrome shop we stopped at was a strange place...they have lots of leather and chrome and black t shirts...It just felt good to get out without racing storm clouds everywhere. And when I heard from the bird man today...I think he will come home tonight with the RR...I spoke to Jerry at the shop this morning, and he told me the RR has 954 miles on it. The guy bought it new and his wife forced him to sell it. :yikes: :tt: It is perfect, show room condition...

Yo - a yellow RR with less than 1000 miles on it is harder to find than a new wife. Poor guy made the wrong choice. :bonk: Oh well - one man's loss is another mans gain

As for the plates, what I did when I lived in Dallas was go to Home Depot and buy nuts and bolts and tighten them down on my plate instead of the butterfly wingnuts that any passer by can take off. Another friend even used lock tight on his and just used an air impact when he removed the plate.

The chrome shop was in Thomasville (my sister looks good naked) Georgia

This is the second thug here. And yes, I am the new proud daddy of an 03 600 RR with 954 miles on it. I am extremely exited. I pick it up today after work.
And the shop in Thomasville, at least there were a couple of cute 3 eyed southern girls. lol

About 1 am this morning I was taking my contacts out just after flushing the toilet (and washing my hands) and heard a noise that sounded like I was in Niagra Falls, unfortunately a screw on the back of my toilet has come loose. Here's a picture: and no animals were harmed in this reenactment

Congrats on the bike again! :willy:

It must be national bathroom breakdown month becuase on Sunday my shower got a hole on the roof from a pipe breaking in my upstairs neighbors apt. I am just glad that it was over the shower and not the rest of the bathroom.

Well, Friday I rode around the truck and put the bike on the trailer. Saturday I unloaded the bike and rode it around the culdesac and into the new owner's garage. It's a shame the last ride had to be so short. Yes, I'm still in mourning.

I'm gonna put 'lock nuts' on the plate when I get them again. So that you'll actually have to use tools to get 'em off!

Now you get to start doing research on your NEXT bike...Who knows, maybe you can fall into a deal like 99birdV6 did on that RR...It is such a deal, he put it on his credit card this morning so it would be there after work for him to pick up... :yikes: If I told what he is paying for it none of you would believe me...
