05 gixxer 750...
this is my first fuel injected bike. so where is the petcock and how far can you go when the low fuel light is on? it filled up to a little over 2 gallons on the warning light.

what's the longest range anyone has went without refueling?
bike isn't broke in yet and I've been riding it to work 3x a week.

isnt the tank 4.5 gallons or something....thats what my 05 600 is.

my fuel indicator didnt come on till around .75 gallons remaing....yours came on with 2 gallons remaining??

The FI bikes don't have a petcock.
I've got a good 20 miles out of mine. Never pushed it any further.

This was just discussed in a seperate thread.

Make sure when you are filling up your bike that it is standing straight up. I always fill mine with me on the bike holding it up. Plus pull the gas nozle out of the filler hole a bit so you can fill it to the top!

And like Jeeps said... FI = no petcock.
