Valentine one still my choice ;) Love direction arrows letting me know where cops are at.
Prefer hard wire ear plug over wireless helmet signal units. To much going on driving motorcycle to pay attention to systems such as H.A.R.D.

Damn, that seems like a lot of crap to have on a bike. I wouldn't mind having a radar detector sometimes, but it just looks like its all too busy.

The way we ride, I couldn't look at all that stuff, couldn't take eyes of road long enough. How do you keep it from blowing off at speed? I think that GPS would rip away at the speeds I ride at.
Ear plug used on radar detector ;)
Company called H.A.R.D. also makes wireless led that goes inside helmet top part of face shield.
GPS only used for touring on my K1200RS. Since I put an average of 15K to 20K miles a year on my bikes, comes in handy when coming into new town or city.
GPS also works great on my F650GS, can take back road trails without having to rememer how to get back, just use tracker option :dthumb:
Note GPS has been speed tested to 155 MPH without blowing off :yesnod:

OK Jetski....you said radar tells you the direction that the cop is at with direction arrows. Where at on that does it tell you this?? I'm looking at this and can not see where the LED would be at to point it. Do you have a closer pic of it to show?? I'm really curious.

I don't know why you guys are giving him so much crap. It's blatantly obvious he has that bike set up to do some touring. I think it's a pretty decent setup. Not everyone is hard core do or die stunters and canyon carvers. Chances are, if he's carving through the curves, he''s not looking at half of that stuff anyways. When he's tooling down the backroads or super slab though, I bet that **** comes in real handy, and I bet you bastards would be letting him lead as well if you are with him on the backroads since he has the hardware.

To answer the original question, I use the Beltronics cordless radar detector. It's paid for itself, so I have no complaints. :)

New ones are about 1/3 thinner than old ones.
Lots of mounts you can buy for motorcycles to take detector off and on.
