I have a 00 gsxr 750, Its fuel injected. If I am FI why do i have a choke on the bike. Remember I come from the car word, and we only have choke on carbs
:iagree:jeeps84 said:Like any motor, It is expected to run a little sloppy (fuel air atomization) till the heads and intake warm a bit. The FI compensates for the air fuel ratio but, that is not always enough.
Don't get carried away with it. I'm dought it would do any damage but, I don't like to raise the RPM's over what it needs to stay running.Gas Man said:Not too mention it sure does speed up the warm up process!
Thats what I thoughtGas Man said::iagree: and you see that most people don't use it... as a matter of fact... most newer FI bikes don't come with it anymore...
ahhhhhhhhh .... a simple joke from a simple man.. :sorry: :luck:Mudpuppy said:No idea but speaking of choking yo mammy doesn't have a gag reflex - I can personally atest to that fact.. :sorry:
I didn't either 'till I saw my buddy's '03 GSX-R 600. He needs to use his until it warms otherwise it stalls.JK_DILLA said:i dont bother with all that choke silliness. i just bump it off the rev limiter till its warm.
good question though, i didnt know some FI bikes even had that.

What's the SkyWay got to do with FI. If your talking about lose of power. It doesn't matter what you have. The altitude will robe your power.Gas Man said:Just ask anybody that has rode the Skyway in NC!
Then the question is "do you really want that or would it be too much technology"?
