im not sure if this topic has been on the board yet or not but i like to see what people have to say about it.

What drive u do it? U know the saying." there is only two kinds of motorcycle riders, those that have been down and those who will go down." Im sure all of us know someone who has gotten pretty messed up on a bike and alot of us know somone close to us who has died. But we still keep riding. What makes u keep gettin back on the bike?

Being on a sportbike gives me a huge rush. The faster I get to go the better I feel. I had a really bad tank slapper with a different bike a few years back and I thought I was going down. I saved it and parted the bike for a few mins sitting on my helmet staring at my bike and thinking what could have happened. Few mins later I was right back on my bike riding and the only way I get over something like that is to go fast again. Faster is even better. Its the rush of going fast that does it for my. 170+mph in a cage, 160+mph on 2 wheels, and 250+mph skydiving. I have a huge need for speed and thats my drug.

on a motorcycle is where im just comfortable. Even on a rickety '74 CL350. (my first bike) Im more confident on a bike than in any car.

And of course SPEED! even the hardcore car guys know a $7000 bike will smoke a car worth 4x as much.

not so much the number the speedo says, but the Acceleration. I like to feel the force on my body as the bike rockets forward, guess thats why i like the Drag racing portion of riding so well.
Though corners are good and exciting to.
The feeling of danger and injury drives me to get as close as i can without hurting myself or others. and yeah reading 164 on the speedo is cool too.

And chicks dig it...lol dont mind that part at all. Shallow hot chicks are still hot chicks.

how cna u like acceleration butn ot speed.. with a modern sportbike 0-60 is under 3 secodns on just aobout any sportbike and most speed limits arnet over 65. Its hard to appreciate acceleration for under 3 seconds.

I'm sure adrenalin drives us all, otherwise weeda bought a Harley.
