I suppose the same could be said for a Porsche, Lexus, Inifiniti, you name it. I think a Duc has somewhat of a status symbol attached to it. They certainly aren't as prevalent as Jap bikes. Some folks just like all things Italian.
The same could be said about cloths. You can buy them at Bloomingdales or get the knock offs at Kmart. Its all a status someone wants to carry or show off with. :dthumb:
